Amber Schroader, President & CEO
Ms. Schroader is the Founder and CEO of Paraben Corporation as well as the chief architect responsible for the design of Paraben’s extensive line of digital forensic solutions. As a pioneer in the field, Ms. Schroader has been key in developing new technology to help investigators with the extraction of digital evidence from hard drives, email, and handheld and mobile devices.
Ms. Schroader has been a leader in the field of computer forensics for over twenty years. During this time, she has developed and taught numerous courses for the computer forensic arena specializing in the field of wireless forensics, mobile technologies, email analysis and extraction, as well as network forensics. Ms. Schroader is also a sought after keynote speaker, expert witness and appeared on NBC Nightly News other national and international media.
Ms. Schroader has extensive experience in dealing with a wide array of forensic investigators ranging from federal, state, local, and corporate. With an aggressive development schedule, Ms. Schroader continues to bring new and exciting technology to the computer forensic community world-wide and is dedicated to supporting the investigator through new technologies and training services that are being provided through Paraben Corporation. Ms. Schroader is involved in many different computer investigation organizations including The Institute of Computer Forensic Professionals (ICFP), HTCIA, and HTCC.
Shannon Gomez, Director of Sales
Shannon Gomez has been involved in technology sales for over fifteen years. Ms. Gomez started her career while at GA SED - Southern Electronic Distributor. Since that time, she moved to the digital forensic space while at ICS. She pioneered the company's growth in the forensic space with its unique forensic hard drive duplicator. While she was moving ahead in the forensic space, Ms. Gomez also built up a strong channel relationship for the up and coming forensic technologies to fortify the market for more growth. Ms. Gomez continues to foster growth with her skills by joining Paraben Corporation as the Director of Sales. Ms. Gomez is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor Degree in Communications.
Alisha Cales, Customer Service & Channel Relations Manager
Alisha Cales is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Psychology. Her interest in people has made her pivotal as the customer service and channel relationship manager at Paraben Corporation. She has been with Paraben Corporation for multiple years and each year has made an impact in improving the customer experience. Ms. Cales has a strong philosophy on how to take care of the customer and make sure that they have everything they need to be successful in their investigations.
Lee Proctor, Paraben Coordinator
Ms. Proctor has been with Paraben for five years and is the organization behind many of the Paraben programs. Ms. Proctor focuses her time on the Paraben events and making sure that all Paraben users have a go to person for renewing their subscriptions. Ms. Proctor is also a prime member of the Paraben channel team.
Julia S. Richardson, Mobile Services Project Manager
Ms. Richardson has been a project manager at Paraben for six and a half years and has moved over to manage the new Paraben Mobile Services offering. Ms. Richardson works as the liaison between Paraben’s development team and consulting groups in the evaluation of Apps and pen testing of devices. Ms. Richardson is a certified Project Management Professional and works directly with many of the departments to keep communication flowing. Ms. Richardson also enjoys spending time caring for her family and learning more about Legos for her son.
Sergey Thomas, Mobile Team Programming Lead
Mr. Thomas has been with Paraben for eight years. He has been instrumental in the research and development that has gone into making the Paraben tools what they are today. Mr. Thomas has been the driving force behind some of the innovations in Paraben’s DS tool in the areas of breaking different passwords and the unique rooting and bootloaders in the tool. Mr. Thomas loves more than just a mobile adventure and enjoys exciting activities such as kite surfing, skiing, and wakeboarding.
Kevin Fisher, Paraben Support Lead
Kevin has been a foundation in the Paraben support team for five years. Kevin’s dedication to the Paraben customers goes well beyond work hours with volunteering to help them in his free time as well. Kevin has had a love of computers for many years and that love and passion comes through with all of his time and effort he puts into Paraben. Kevin loves all the Paraben tools, but DS has a special place in his heart because of the challenge it is as no two devices are the same. Kevin spends his time constantly improving his mind with different engineering projects. When it is time to unplug, Kevin takes it to the next level with his love of the outdoors and camping with his family.
Jack Ward, Tier 2 Support Engineer
Jack has been with Paraben over a year and spends many of his hours improving the Paraben support site, and answering questions for Paraben customers. Jack’s favorite tool is DS and is excited to see the changes it has gone through since he started. He loves always having a new version and device to work on. Jack also is a bird lover with two parrots a budgerigar and a cockatiel.
Tanya Parker, Tier 2 Support Engineer
Tanya has recently became a member of Paraben team. She performs customer support and testing of Paraben’s products such as HAWK and E3. Tanya will guide you through HAWK problems, and help to resolve E3 related issues. She likes help people and solve seemingly unsolvable tasks. Tanya's hobby is camping and she shares this hobby with her family.
Rich Watson, Mobile Forensic & P2C Instructor
Richard Watson is a Police Officer with the Silverthorne, Colorado Police Department where he is a Patrolman and Digital Media Exploitation Specialist serving five police agencies and the 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Rich comes from an extensive military and civilian law enforcement background totaling 33+ years. Rich has 20 years of police service in Colorado and is a retired Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), active duty and reserve. Rich served in Iraq from 2006-2007 and is the recipient of a Bronze Star Medal, Air Force Combat Action Medal and the U.S. Army Combat Action Badge. Rich is trained in Weapons Intelligence Team operations as applied to battle field Digital Media Exploitation as well as traditional Law Enforcement Digital Media Exploitation. Rich is trained in Paraben Corporation’s P2 Commander, Forensic Replicator and Device Seizure; Cellebrite UFED, Micro Systemation XRY, Susteen Secureview, Katana Forensics Lantern, Access Data FTK and Guidance Software EnCase. Rich holds a Level 3 certification from Paraben Corporation and is the co-author of the book “Digital Triage Forensics: Processing the Digital Crime Scene” (Syngress 2010).
Todd Faulkner, Instructor
Todd Faulkner has been in the public safety field for 25 years. Todd is currently the Chief of Police for the Hinsdale Police Department and is a current member of the NH Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, assigned as a senior computer forensics examiner and child sexual abuse & exploitation investigator. He is a sworn special deputy with the Cheshire County Sheriff’s Department as well as a US Customs and Immigration Title 19 Task Force Officer. He works closely with the NH US Attorney’s Office and Department of Homeland Security.
Todd’s computer forensic and cybercrime investigative experience includes hundreds of case investigations and forensics at the state and federal level with cooperative investigative efforts and forensic assistance to the FBI, Department of Homeland Security (ICE), State of NJ, State of VT, NH State Police Major Crimes Unit, NH Attorney General, NH United States Attorney, and multiple local law enforcement agencies within the State of VT, NH and MA. Todd has received hundreds of hours of advanced trainings in computer and mobile device forensics and applies this training in both the field and lab-based environments. He is a recognized mobile device forensic expert and has been recognized in the State of NH as such. He has also testified in court and grand jury settings multiple times for various computer and mobile device forensic cases.
